About the Role: Sirius Technology is partnering with a leading retail services organisation currently undergoing an exciting business transformation. We are seeking a Data Engineer to play a key role in shaping and executing their data strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Data and IT leadership teams to develop and maintain the data infrastructure that drives analytics and insights across the organisation.
- Support and enhance existing ETL processes to optimise performance.
- Design, build, and implement robust platforms with your architecture expertise.
- Create and manage support plans and guidelines for data pipelines and platforms.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather business requirements and ensure effective data solutions.
Work Setup: Hybrid (Work-from-home flexibility)
Salary: $120k - $140k Base + Super
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Extensive ETL experience to streamline and improve current processes.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Services, such as Data Factory and Databricks
- Proven architecture experience to design and deliver complex platforms.
- Familiar with using REST APIs; desirable to build REST APIs in .NET.
- Familiar with tools like Microsoft PowerBI
- Excellent stakeholder management and business requirements gathering skills.
