Your Role:
- Develop and maintain relational, hierarchical and dimensional data models (conceptual, logical, physical and canonical)
- Design data models for extensibility, scalability to improve data integration
- Design in alignment with best practice for data governance
- Ensure the physical design meets the business requirements, meets enterprise technical standards, conforms to security requirements and industry standards;
- Design a reporting layer ready for end-user consumption and self-service;
- Assist in developing and enhancing automated BI, data analytics and reporting services
- Manage relationships with all key business stakeholders in relation to your work.
You will need to have:
- Relevant tertiary Education in IT/Mathematics/Stats or relevant industry experience
- Demonstrated experience in data modelling, data architecture and data warehousing technologies and practices – Microsoft (MSBI)
- Proven experience in developing both logical and physical data models
- Demonstrable experience in creating tabular models in SSAS, Azure Analysis Services, or Power BI
- Demonstrable experience in creating Power BI reports
- Ability to perform in-depth systems and data analytics
- Ability to translate business requirements to technical requirements
- Demonstrated experience working in an Agile based, fast paced, complex environment within cross-functional teams.
