- Analyse complex project requirements to determine impact and/or change to the system architecture
- Contribute technical designs for system projects
- Understand customers underlying issues and concerns and provide added value
- Determine and document the most effective technical approach to define and resolve identified problem
- Develop and recommend new processes, tools and technology to improve architecture
- Handle multiple, complex projects from inception to completion
- Conduct analysis, design and evaluation of system architecture capabilities across multiple areas.
- Act as a Consultant for pre-sales
Job requirements:
- Knowledge of the primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Aurora, Route53 & S3)
- Ability to size and cost different topology on AWS
- A track record of implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments
- Large scale migration experience Data Center to Data Center and/or Data Center to Cloud
- Infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting (E.g. shell, Python, Ruby, Powershell)
- Configuration management using Ansible and Terraform
- Strong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment
- Excellent customer facing/presentation skills
- May require travel, both domestically and internationally, to perform duties. Frequency depends on individual and project needs
