Job Description
You will work within a team and closely with the business owner providing regular reporting on accounts and financials across key activities as well as accounts payable and lodgement of monthly payroll for over 300 staff. Bring ideas and help implement procedure changes to improve efficiency's. The successful candidate will be comfortable at building and growing key relationships with management that will enable you to understand all the drivers and help you to lead change to improve profitability. Sydney CBD location with competitive salary.
Responsibilities
- Daily reconciliation of accounts in XERO
- Lodge payroll for over 300 staff
- Develop process improvement & ensure compliance with legislation
- Produce all financial reports for management
- Oversee accounts payable
- Ensure leave & GST is calculated correctly
- Generate reports including: sales, commissions, targets, margin sheets and monthly activities
Skills & experience
- Solid experience in XERO
- 1-2 years experience in a similar role
- Qualified/studying CPA/CA with Finance or Business degree
- Excel - intermediate to advanced skills
