Due to rapid expansion, an exciting NEW opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Business Partner to join a major supplier to the building and construction industry based in Western Sydney.
Reporting to the General Manager of the business, this is a highly autonomous and hands-on role where you will be responsible for:
- Support the General Manager across company initiatives and management of casual workforce (non unionised environment)
- Provide sound HR support, direction and advice on a range of matters across the business
- Developing employee engagement and retention strategies
- Recruitment and interviewing of casuals to support rapid business growth
- Design and develop culture improvements initiatives
- Coordination of Return to Work and Injury Management
- Building strong working relationships across all levels of the business
- A big focus on the People and Culture aspects
- Coaching and mentoring of Line Managers and staff
- At least 5 years experience as a HR Generalist or HR Business Partner
- Ability to operate independently and back your decisions in supporting senior management team within all facets of HR
- Proven experience within Building or Construction, Industrial, Blue Collar or similar Industries
- Experience in recruitment, interviewing and onboarding of casual staff including running recruitment campaigns
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Experience in performance management and coaching
