Job Description

Permanent opportunity for a Digital Engineering Leader to join the fast-growing Digital and Assets Engineering team (DAE) of professionals who engage with clients to create solutions to solve problems, using digital engineering (DE), building information management (BIM), 3D/4D/5D modelling, virtual design and construction (VDC), automation, Digital Twins and other digital capabilities.  Working closely with clients and the wider business will give you the opportunity to work on some of Australia’s most vital projects across market sectors such as Water, Energy and Resources, Environment, Building, Transportation and Defence. 

To be successful in this role, you must have a digital engineering background with a strong understanding and passion for DE, BIM, Digital Twins and digital transformation projects. A track record of leadership in this space with strong client and stakeholder management experience and a proven ability to enable business growth. 
 

Role and responsibilities:

  • Growing the DAE team and business within ANZ and later throughout the Southern Hemisphere
  • Be a thought leader in Digital Engineering, understanding emerging trends like Digital Twins and developing capabilities and offerings accordingly
  • Actively engaging with potential / target clients to identify needs and opportunities 
  • Assess current digital capability and risks, then develop digital vision, gap analysis and road map for DE/BIM and Digital Twins implementation
  • Provide DAE consultancy services, project management and training
  • Assist with integration of DE/BIM with Asset Management and Operations
  • Contribute towards to revenue, utilisation and productivity targets
  • Run transformation programs, including pilot projects
  • Build effective relationships with internal teams and project stakeholders
  • Create an environment where people are supported to innovate and experiment 
  • Identify, recruit, develop and retain the right people to create a sustainable high performing DAE team
