Job Description

  • 6-month full time contract
  • Based in Cronulla
  • 2 years React.js experience essential 
Our client is a long-established Australian company with a strong e-Commerce presence.  They are seeking a new Front-end Developer to join their team to help develop and maintain new and existing websites and applications.  

  • Develop public facing websites using Azure, HTML, CSS, React.js
  • End to end project ownership: planning, designing, testing, deploying and documenting
  • Ensure the company website infrastructure hosts the websites with high availability and performance
  • Created automated solutions for manual processes
  • Help develop and maintain data integration between internal IT systems and 3rd parties
Essential Criteria
  • 2 years commercial experience working hands-on with HTML, CSS and React.js and experience developing in Azure environment
  • Experience developing secure public facing websites, ideally working with payment gateways and credit card transactions
  • Strong experience of developing responsive web interfaces
  • Experience optimising front-end code for performance and scalability
  • Experience using front-end build pipelines and tools (CI/CD)
  • Familiar with using RESTful APIs
  • Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Availability to work 9-5 Mon-Friday and to commute to and from Cronulla (this role is not available for remote working)
  • Desirable: experience in fintech, retail or supply chain industry
