Sirius are excited to be supporting a well-established perishable goods impoter recruit an experienced Customer Service Despatcher . Located in Botany, the purpose of this role is to Deliver in Full On Time With Quality (DIFTOQ) through discharging work, dealing with operational issues, organising and liaising with transport providers.
The main responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:
- Work to tight deadlines, prioritising tasks to ensure timely despatch of orders within agreed SLA’s
- Monitor EDI orders and releasing in the Warehouse Management System
- Ensure all orders are despatched and manifested accurately
- Coordinate with transport companies to ensure all deliveries are booked and despatched on time
- Ensure all paperwork is prepared on time and is accurate (SLIs, con notes, packing lists, invoices)
- Work with internal and external departments to investigate any discrepancies
- Support with regular stock takes and cycle counts
- Build strong relationships with customers
- Maintain all company WHS policies
- Exposure to working in a food handling/ temperature controlled environment is advantageous
- Previous experience/knowledge of warehouse distribution (highly desirable)
- Intermediate Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- A strong customer service focus with first rate problem solving skills
- An outstanding work ethic with a can-do attitude
