The business is evolving and to help them realise their growth and development goals, they are seeking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager.
The Role
The objective of the role is to nurture and grow membership of the Leadership Forum among C-Suite Executives in the Health, Aged Care, and Human/Social Services sector. This is a highly autonomous and pro-active and consultative sales role. You will target existing clients as well as new business.
- Deliver revenue targets for current and new business segments
- Develop strategies and sales plan for current and new segments
- Build pipeline and focus on sales tasks to close sales early
- Manage complex system solution sales with Marketing (3-9 month sales cycle)
- Consult with prospects to evaluate learning solution and tailor to their needs
- Establish and maintain key client, stakeholder and sector influencer relationships
- Strong end-to-end sales experience ideally in a related industry sector
- Experience selling a similar solution (eg: high value training or events)
- Excellent understanding of the health/aged care/human/social services industry (ideally able to bring an existing network)
- Ability to manage a client portfolio of C-Level executives (Board Chair, CE Sets, C-Suite, GM)
- Confident in face to face selling
- Highly adept at growing and maintaining meaningful relationships with clients
- Very well respected brand in the sector
