Job Description

Our client is a global advertisement and marketing giant looking to add to their team here in Sydney. Currently, they are looking for an experienced Technical Support Engineer to come on board for a 6 month contract with an intention to extend well into 2021.

The successful candidate will join a medium sized team to take on responsibilities supporting the test and production environments to ensure high availability of production environment and minimize disruption to the test environment. 

MUST Have Commercial Experience in:
  • 2+ yrs experience in tech support role Regulated domain (Finance, Banking, Gov etc.)
  • Solid Wintel experience (2 Years Experience)
  • VMWare (12 months exp) Virtual Machine Design, Provision, Support, Backup, Maintenance and Troubleshooting
  • Azure
  • IIS
  • SQL
  • Web deployments & releases
  • Access Control 
  • Monitoring

Desired Skills:
  • Extensive experience in Technical Operations Support
  • ITIL Exposure 
  • Experience working in regulated domains (Finance, Banking, Gov etc.)
  • .Net
  • Enterprise monitoring
  • Atlassian Tools (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Networking knowledge WAN, DNS and Firewall
