The Sales & Marketing Executive will be a great multi-tasker who can adapt to sales, marketing, networking, relationship building, reporting - whatever the task may be! This is a job with a lot of variety so you need to be able to wear lots of hats and work at a fast pace. This role is what they call 360 degrees... you will manage relationships with your venue/destination clients while also managing sales relationships with PCO's, event agencies, corporate companies - whoever is looking for a great venue for their next large scale event!
- Daily calls with your accounts to report back on the market, sales leads etc
- Sales calls to corporate, pco, event, incentive agencies to promote your portfolio (some of this could include cold calling)
- Organising and hosting familiarization trips/site visits (international and domestic)
- Attending industry networking events, trade expos, travel events to build awareness
- Writing copy for marketing updates, website promotions, edm's
- Researching and collating market intelligence on your industry verticals to report back to client portfolio
- Experience in the events, travel, MICE sector
- Previous proactive sales experience
- Marketing & branding knowledge/know-how
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage your sales process and nurture your sales pipeline
- Ability to attend events outside business hours when required
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally when required
- Work in a close-knit team in a lovely area of North Sydney/Crows Nest (free street parking available)
