Reporting to the General Manager, you will have experience of the demands of selling into a highly competitive industry. This role requires a real HUNTER who appreciates there is a lot of money to be earned.
The Duties
The role will require you to be out on the road implementing sales action plans that result in attainment of sales targets.
- Your core focus will be acquiring new accounts and contracts.
- Grow and maintain a profitable pipeline
- Promoting company brand in new territory and developing company awareness.
- Selling into a broad range of verticals and multi-tier decision makers.
- Working with the marketing team to develop a “Go to market” strategy.
Requirements
- Experience in Logistics, 3PL, Supply Chain or other transferable industry (highly regarded)
- Minimum 3 years Business Development experience exceeding target and able to demonstrate acquiring new business in previous roles.
- Ability to demonstrate strategic planning in an Account Management role (desirable).
- High level of attention to detail and “Do what you promise” approach to work
- Experience working autonomously
