Job Description

Our leading Banking client are looking for an experienced Vendor Manager to join their Partner and Vendor Management office.

Role:
  • Create a strategic business plan for specific vendor partners
  • Business reporting and analysis
  • Prepare presentation material
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with specific vendor partners to keep up-to-date with trends, issues and developments
  • Participate in increment scoping, planning and prioritisation
  • Framework compliance which includes health assessments issues
Key Skills:
  • Vendor Manger experience in an Agile environment
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to articulate a clear vision
  • Problem solving skills with good attention to detail
  • Relationship management skills able to influence and negotiate with stakeholders
  • Self-motivated customer centric approach with a strong drive to succeed
  • Procurement, vendor governance and understanding partnership value is a plus
  • Up to date with current trends in vendor risk management
  • Team player, collaborative approach and excellent communication skills 
This is an initial 6 month contract which is likely to extend due to the project pipeline in place.
