The Role
As Production Manager, you will be responsible for the building of custom elements and maintenance of hire stock elements.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpreting build plans and providing input through the design process
- Ordering of production materials through suppliers
- Liaising with external production suppliers
- Cutting and assembly of display items in line with design specifications
- Ensuring the quality of build items as well as the ease of install
- Test assembly of stands and stand elements
- Maintenance and repair of hire inventory items as required
- Assisting the warehouse and install team both in the picking and packing of jobs as well as installation onsite as required.
- Keeping a clean and efficient workspace
- Maintenance and upkeep of company tools and equipment
- Ensure the highest levels of safety are adhered to in the warehouse and onsite
Competencies & experience required
- Either a cabinetmaker or shopfitter trade background
- Full rights to work in Australia
- Minimum 5 years’ experience post apprenticeship
- A current and valid driver’s license
- Exhibition industry experience
- Forklift licence
- MR Truck Licence
