Job Description

Due to year on year growth my client is looking for an experienced and hungry Business Development Manager to cover Sydney within the logistics removals and relocation sector. Sell into a broad range of sectors and utiise your exisiting network.

Here is the twist!! This isn’t your typical cold calling new business role, you will be  well supported with warm leads and countless existing relationships to leverage from - a true salespersons dream!

The Company

My client is an Australian owned business with a national and international presence. Even though they are well established, they continually withhold a good reputation and strong brand awareness- priding themselves on reliability, exceptional service and quick turnaround on delivery. 

The Role

Reporting to a down to earth Sales Manager, you will have experience of the demands of selling into a highly competitive industry. The role will require you to be out on the road implementing sales action plans that result in attainment of sales targets.
  • Your core focus will be acquiring new accounts and projects.
  • Develop and handle a sales busy pipeline
  • Tender and present on large scale and smaller projects within the commercial space.
  • Selling into a broad range of verticals and multi-tier decision makers.

About you 

You will thrive in a performance oriented, collaborative culture, have a growth mindset, are able to develop outstanding relationships with peers and most importantly customers.

  • Minimum 3 years Business Development experience exceeding target and able to demonstrate acquiring new business in previous roles.
  • Ability to demonstrate strategic planning in an Account Management role (desirable).
  • High level of attention to detail and “Do what you promise” approach to work
  • Previous experience selling into procurement and multi level management.
