Job Description

Based out of the company's Head Office in Western Sydney, the new Business Development Manager will join a highly accredited organisation world-renowned for their range of specialist services including commercial fit-outs and refurbishments.  
In this position you will be actively prospecting for new business in a range of markets that could include corporate offices, hospitals, hotels, retail and even events and trade exhibitions.  The majority of your time will be spent out of the office, meeting with prospects and nurturing your sales pipeline through to close.  When you are in the office you will be preparing tenders and RFQ's, as well as cold calling new business leads to identify new opportunities.  The objective of your role will be to generate sales and manage projects through to completion, with both new and existing clients, so you will need to be a true 'hunter' to be successful.  

Essential Criteria
  • Business development experience - this role is not account management, so only those with previous new business experience will be considered
  • Ideally experience in a similar industry eg: building & construction, fits-outs, refurbs, relocations, transport/logistics..
  • Strong 'service as a solution' background
  • Experience writing tenders & pitches - highly desirable
  • Experience in using 'outside of the box' techniques to win new business
  • Experience in end to end sales process & project delivery 
  • High-vis to suit & tie adaptalibility!
  • Must be a current resident of Australia with full Australian Working Rights - sorry, this role does not offer sponsorship
